Janeway should never have accepted Seven of Nine as an ally!

When Seven first joined the crew, she didn't even share Starfleet's values. She was an ex-Borg with a problematic history and problematic beliefs.

Janeway should have jettisoned Seven into space, and not accepted her help in getting Voyager past the Borg, Species 8472, the Pitcher Plant, the Hirogen, and everything else. Voyager should've just waited for a better option to come along.

Sure, Voyager might be pretty screwed without Seven. But at least when everyone is getting assimilated by the Borg, Janeway could say...

Rewatching Voy's S04E02's The Gift and Chakotay noting that Seven of Nines parents "fancied themselves explorers" which is reviewed further in flashbacks in S0406's episode The Raven...

I'll be honest, the phrase "White People Shit" occurred to me when Chakotay is giving his briefing (and not for the first time). "Oh! Space Death Cyborgs? Let's follow them and drag our little girl along, what's the worst that can happen?"

I also saw a clip recently at some sci-fi convention or other (that I am going to have to find again) where Kate Mulgrew addressed her and Jeri Ryan's rumored tension on the set, she praised Jeri at length but commented the tension came from Jeri being late on set all the time. For some reason that makes me respect Mulgrew more than I did, but also the idea that Ryan might also be a neurodivergent gremlin like me is also encouraging.

Whatever show Ryan might get in the future I would donate to a non-profit of either persons choice if Kate Mulgrew had a guest staring role.

Summary: Kate is a bitch and she knows that Natalie is in love with Zac and she hates her for it. Zac used to be a nice guy but being with Kate turned him into an asshole, causing his family to push him away. Could Natalie be the one who brings the old Zac back?
